Cell Therapy for Cardiovascular Disease: A Comparison of Methods of Delivery

The field of myocardial regeneration utilizing novel cell-based therapies, gene transfer, and growth factors may prove to play an important role in the future management of ischemic heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
